Siteimprove Announces Automated Website Policy Enforcement

Siteimprove guy dressed up as a police officer to represent the Policy feature.

Siteimprove is excited to announce the release of their latest feature – Policy. A natural addition to the web governance suite, Policy enables users to set a range of website policies within three categories – pages, documents and media files, and receive alerts of any violations.

The main benefit of the Policy feature is the ability to implement important website policies that ensure multiple editors conform across multiple sites, which helps protect an organization’s reputation and brand, as well as allow for quick reactions to new content policies.

Policies are easily set up using a builder and cover a multitude of everyday website policy scenarios. Designed with the user in mind, Siteimprove’s grouping setup is integrated with Policy, enabling editors to focus on violations on only the pages that matter to them.

Ideal for all members of the web team, as well as management, policies and violations can be easily seen on-page, as well as within detailed lists that show all pages affected by a policy violation. As with all of Siteimprove’s services, fully customizable reports are available for Policy and are sent every time a full site check is performed.

Policy is available free of charge to Quality Assurance customers and replaces the existing Content Policy feature.
