The Siteimprove CMS plugin bridges the gap between the Magnolia content management system (CMS) and the Siteimprove Intelligence Platform. Now you can scan your website for errors as soon as a page is published, allowing you to fix mistakes, optimize content, and manage your site more efficiently.

What does it do?

Magnolia CMS is a platform for building best-of-breed digital experiences. Enterprises such as Avis, Generali, Tesco and the New York Times use Magnolia CMS as a central hub for their web, mobile and digital experience initiatives.

The Magnolia connector for Siteimprove allows users of Magnolia CMS to integrate the Siteimprove Intelligence Platform into a seamless workflow to improve SEO, web performance and content quality. With a dynamic widget integrated into the Magnolia CMS user interface, content editors have real-time access to visual data from Siteimprove’s Intelligence Platform, right at the point of the content and customer experience creation.

The Siteimprove CMS Add-On provides insights into*:

  • Misspellings and broken links
  • Readability levels
  • Accessibility issues (A, AA, AAA conformance level)
  • High-priority policies
  • SEO: technical, content, UX, and mobile
  • Page visits and page views
  • Feedback rating and comments
  • Get insights into the impact of unpublishing a specific page.
  • URL Shortener data and its impact on your digital assets

Review impact before unpublishing

You can now use the plugin to check if unpublishing a page will have an impact on your site. For example, you'll be able to see if deleting a page will affect your SEO, or if users would lose access to important documents and links.
If the plugin identifies any potential issues, you'll be able to make informed changes if you decide to unpublish a page. Read more about our CMS plugin

For Siteimprove Partners

To agency and solution partners working with Magnolia CMS and Siteimprove, the integration enables them to provide a superior value proposition to clients, and a faster time to market.

The idea behind the plugin is simple, yet effective. By leveraging the insights from Siteimprove’s Intelligence Platform directly in Magnolia, editors no longer have to publish a page and then have it checked separately, switching across different tools. This streamlines the workflow in an environment where brands increasingly have to consider multiple channels, devices and formats.
