Corporate Social Responsibility Digital Accessibility

Siteimprove-Tandem-BikingOn Thursday, May 21st, 2015, Siteimprove, in collaboration with the Danish Association of the Blind, will hold the world’s largest blind tandem bike ride in Copenhagen, Denmark, to promote Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). Prominent guests, such as the American Ambassador to Denmark, Rufus Gifford, and Siteimprove employees, will join 100 blind and partially-sighted members of the Danish Association for the Blind on the bikes. After the event, Siteimprove is donating all bikes to various blind cycling associations.

Siteimprove CEO, Morten Ebbesen, hopes the event inspires other businesses to adopt a socially responsible culture. “Promoting equal access for all is an integral part of our digital work and we’re excited to be able to promote accessibility and give back to society” said Ebbesen.

Founded in Denmark by Danish entrepreneur Morten Ebbesen in 2003, Siteimprove is the world-leading provider of web governance tools and solutions. As a Software-as-a-Service company, Siteimprove has the unique ability to make a significant difference in the area of digital accessibility. Websites with poor accessibility are a global problem that Siteimprove proactively works towards solving.
