With a strong 11-man roster, the Siteimprove Sailing Team is ready to show that web governance isn’t the only thing Siteimprove excels at. After three years of intense training and with a number of friendly wins under their belt, the team is ready for their first appearance at the World Championship.

Decked out in Siteimprove clothing and with the Siteimprove flag flying proudly in the wind, Siteimprove employee and crew member David Flygenring Nielsen is confident they will come home the winners.

“First and foremost we’re a competitive team that likes to win, and with all of Siteimprove behind us I feel confident we’re going to make everyone proud.”

For Siteimprove CEO Morten Ebbesen, the opportunity to sponsor the Siteimprove Sailing Team wasn’t just about winning.

“As a growing international company that prides itself on supporting employees’ work-life balance this seemed like a great chance to take our commitment to health and well being to a new level," said Ebbesen. “It’s great that David is getting out there and being active, plus the event itself is bound to be a lot of fun, which is something we strongly support in our own workplace, so the values align."
