Siteimprove Announces New Web Governance and Web Accessibility Webinar Series
Feb 17, 2014
Siteimprove introduced a two-track webinar series providing expert guidance on best practices and new research relating to Web Governance and Web Accessibility compliance.
“The new Siteimprove webinars will equip online marketers with resources and tools to better manage and maintain the highest levels of quality on their large websites,” said Torben Rytt, CEO of Siteimprove. “The importance of adhering to the most stringent quality standards for your organization’s website has never been more apparent, and our learning webinars will help marketers do just that.”
Siteimprove’s webinar series is slated to incorporate industry experts as key presenters in the bimonthly learning classes.
“We’re signing on the smartest minds in the industry to share their best ideas with anyone and everyone, completely free,” Rytt said. “We’re committed to pushing organizations’ websites to new heights and increasing their accessibility to everyone.”
The initial two webinars offered promote proper techniques for carrying out a website redesign project and best practices for making websites accessible to visitors with disabilities in accordance with local laws and standards.
“Our opening webinars address two of the largest problems faced by web teams today,” said Rytt. “Website redesign projects are notorious for getting derailed by scope creep and project delays, and our webinar ‘How to Prepare for a Website Redesign’ prepares website managers and contributors to contain those problems. Our webinar ‘Introduction to Web Accessibility’ lays the groundwork for not only making your website accessible to everyone, but understanding web accessibility as a whole.”
The webinars are offered to the general public free of charge.
“We want everyone to participate in our webinar series, and that’s why we’re offering them to anyone who wants to learn, completely free,” Rytt said.
