Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce recognizes company’s growth, workplace culture

MINNEAPOLIS March 24, 2017 – Siteimprove was honored as Breakout Business of the Year recently by the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce. Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Roger Fuhrman, accepted the award for the company at a March 23 ceremony held at Loews Minneapolis Hotel.

The Chamber’s Best In Business Awards recognizes companies for their accomplishments in the previous year. Qualifying companies meet certain eligibility requirements, including business growth, corporate philanthropy and workplace innovation.

Siteimprove was founded in 2003 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and has more than 400 global employees spanning nine offices. Overall, the company experienced 66% growth in 2015. Siteimprove has more than 160 employees in its Minneapolis office, its North American headquarters and home to Chief Executive Officer Torben Rytt.

The Chamber noted Siteimprove’s commitment to caring for its employees, which was reinforced by the company being recognized as a top workplace by both the Star Tribune and Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal in 2016.

“We are humbled by this wonderful recognition from the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce,” said Rytt. “It reinforces not just the innovative actions we’ve taken to grow our business but also our vision for workplace culture and community investment. We draw great energy from this confluence of engagement.”
