Hvorfor valgte du Siteimprove som arbejdsplads?
I chose Siteimprove as a workplace as it offered me an exciting opportunity as a native English speaker living in Denmark. From the first day at the company I have felt welcome and relished the working ethos of a small company expanding and growing plus the open hierarchy structure where everyone can come with their thoughts and suggestions.
Hvad er det bedste ved at arbejde hos Siteimprove?
I have been at Siteimprove since the company launched on the UK market in 2004, and have developed my role within the company from account manager through to project leader within development. Within Siteimprove I have been offered the opportunity to direct my career in the direction that both suited me and company as a whole. The company has grown in size dramatically since I started, but although changes have been made to accommodate this, the atmosphere and focus remain the same. I have also become a mother to 2 small children since working here, and as a full time mum I have to say that the understanding and flexibility that I am offered at Siteimprove is second to none.
Hvordan ser en typisk arbejdsdag ud for dig?
It is hard to describe a typical working day, when it very much depends on where we are in a release cycle. My primary role as project leader sees me conversing with the developers involved, time & project management as well as a healthy dose of meetings.
A typical day could also see me writing text for our services and coordinating translations for our multiple markets. There is always time, however, for a chat and to catch up with fellow colleagues.

Hvad er det bedste ved at arbejde hos Siteimprove?
Siteimprove har velfungerende teams, hvor vi alle bringer det, som vi er bedst til og bedst kan lide at arbejde med til bordet. Ting bevæger sig hurtigt fra idé til handling og færdigt koncept og der bliver lyttet til alles input. Der skal være kvalitet i arbejdet, men samtidig er tonen meget uhøjtidelig og humoristisk.
Hvordan ser en typisk arbejdsdag ud for dig?
Jeg arbejder med at skrive tekster til vores tilgængelighedsløsninger, og samtidig svarer jeg på spørgsmål fra vores kunder gennem vores support/sælgere om tilgængelighedsmodulet. Jeg rådgiver og tester både for kunder og internt og underviser også på webinars. Jeg arbejder også med den kommunikative del af mit område ved at skrive white papers, blogindlæg og lave videoer om eTilgængelighed. Og så mødes vi jævnligt i tilgængelighedsteamet og planlægger udviklingen fremover.

Why did you choose Siteimprove as a workplace?
Location, Location, Location - I chose to work at Siteimprove b/c of location and job description. The location is in the heart of Uptown in Minneapolis, MN. We are just a few miles from downtown and situated in the best place to grab great food and shopping. The job description is the standard administrative assistant but open for change that has already included many additional responsibilities. I work best by having many projects, which keeps my days filled with short and long term goals.
What is the best thing about working at Siteimprove?
The growth potential - You make your own way with hard work and dedication. Also, everyone works diligently on projects with respect for others and accountability.
How is a typical day at work for you?
My day starts with accounts payable and receivable items. Then throughout the day, there are various accounting, sales, and administrative tasks that need attention or new assignments that are requested. I prioritize my day by setting goals but always have a generous amount of flexibility for anything that may come up.

Why did you choose Siteimprove as a workplace?
Initially I came to Siteimprove because I was tired of working in restaurants and wanted a full time 9-5 job. I have decided to remain at Siteimprove because I enjoy the work environment and believe we have very well thought out solutions that really help a lot of people.
What is the best thing about working at Siteimprove?
For me the best thing is the work environment. Improvements to the office space are routinely made, the people are great, and the overall feeling of working hard while still having fun is something I really enjoy.
How is a typical day at work for you?
I generally come in at 8:00 am and start making prospecting phone calls for at least one hour. The rest of the day is filled up with client meetings, product demonstrations, and attempts to close business.

Upper management listens to concerns and treats you as part of the family instead of a corporation.
How is a typical day at work for you?
Cold calls for a couple of hours, follow up from emails received, do a couple of demo's, follow up on sales that are about to close.

Why did you choose Siteimprove as a workplace?
It was clear to me when choosing Siteimprove as a potential employee that they were a growing organization. The opportunity looked like a great one due to minimal competition and the start up of the UK and US offices. Siteimprove has an excellent company culture all employees are extremely friendly and helpful. You know if you have any issues or questions there will be someone to help, whether this be in your immediate office or a sister office at the end of the phone. Siteimprove had at the time of my interview and still has to this day a great growth plan, and for this very reason I knew Siteimprove could offer me a career path not just a job role.
What is the best thing about working at Siteimprove?
I can't narrow it down to 1 so I have 2, 1 is the employees, everyone is so friendly and helpful and all have such dedication to the company. And the 2nd is the growth/new ideas of the company and what that means for employees, personal growth.
How is a typical day at work for you?
First thing from 8-9.30 is admin, invoicing and emails. Then from 9.30-12 I spend majority of this time on the phone, selling to new customers, catching up with current customers, or completing product demonstrations. 12-2pm will be similar to the morning, as well as sending out contracts and customer quotes. 2-4pm again I will be on the phone, selling, speaking to customers and completing online training webinars. 4 to 5-ish same as the morning admin time.
