This allows you to add checkpoints to your current SiteAlarm subscription.
Please note that more checkpoints incur additional costs. Discounts are available for multiple checkpoints.
Checkpoints can be added at these points in SiteAlarm:
- Via the Add Checkpoint button on the SiteAlarm Overview page
- After creating a new group via the Add group button on the SiteAlarm Overview page.
The first step of the setup process is determining which type of checkpoint you wish to monitor.
Select one of the four check types:
- Web servers using HTTP or HTTPS (SSL servers) protocols. There are three check types available: Simple scan, Content scan, and Defacement scan. An explanation of these check types is available on the Configuration help screen.
- Check for response from an FTP server.
- Check of an incoming e-mail server (POP3).
- Check of an outgoing e-mail server (SMTP).
Click Next > to continue the setup process.
This takes you to the first step of the Configure process for the new checkpoint.
