Page Details

The Page details page shows the current indexing status and search preferences for a specific page on your site. Each option has an associated help text, which is displayed when you hover your mouse over the red question mark.

This is a summary of the information on this page:

  • URL: The Uniform Resource Locator for the page. Click the link to open the page in a new browser window.
  • Last indexed: The date that this page was last indexed by any crawl.
  • Indexed first time: The date and time that a crawl first indexed this page.
  • Searchable: This displays whether this page will appear in search results or not.
  • File type: This displays the file type of the page.
  • Key search terms: This displays any key search terms that have been created for this page. Key search terms force this page to appear in the list of search results for a query using that search term, even if the page itself does not contain that search term. Key search terms can be set on the Page configuration page.
  • Meta tags: This displays a list of the values that were found under each of the meta tags that have been designated for search. The columns in the table display the metatag name, and the value that was found. In the example below, the metatag would have appeared like this in the page source code:

  • Pageranking: This displays any Pageranking scheme that this page is a part of. Pageranking is SearchImprove’s keyword-driven page promotion scheme, and is used to make editorial selections for specific search queries. Please refer to the Pageranking section for more information.
  • Groups: This displays a list of the groups that this page is currently included in. Find out how to create groups and add pages according to a variety of criteria on the Group setup page.

You can force inclusion in existing groups from the Page configuration page.

Click the Index now button to update the search index for this page immediately. Note that if crawls are currently being processed, this operation will be queued.

Click the Configure button to change Key search terms and group affiliation for this page.
