Filters

Filter your statistics according to your exact specifications, and create comparative reports for any metric: Browser usage comparison, navigational patterns, etc.

Filters allow you to predefine methods of filtering your data by a range of criteria.

Filters can be set up to include as many of these criteria as are required. Of course, the more detailed the filter is, the less data will actually match the criteria, and the less data will be displayed when activating the filter.

For example, it is possible to set up a filter that:

  1. only displays data from users that use Internet Explorer
  2. visited your site’s Products page and immediately afterwards visited your site’s Trial Sign-up page, and
  3. occurred in the time span between 10 am and 1 pm.

This will briefly explain the benefits of each of the filtering criteria.

  • User system: Browser, Operating system, Screen resolution
  • Page visits: Visits to one or multiple pages, visited in an arbitrary or a defined sequence
  • Country/Area: Visits from specific countries or predefined areas
  • IP filter: Visits from a specific range of IP addresses
  • Internal Search filter: Visits that included a search for a defined search term using your site's search engine.
  • External Search filter: Visits that were referred from an internet search engine using a defined search term.
  • Groups: Visits that included a view of at least one page within a specific SiteAnalyze Page Group.
  • Referrers: Visits that were referred from a defined domain.
  • Time span: Visits that occurred at a specific time during the day.
