SiteAnalyze Update - Dec '07

SiteAnalyze Update - Document Downloads, External Link Usage, Search Term Trends.

An important part of the SiteImprove policy is to continue to improve and develop our services in line with customer needs and suggestions. With this in mind, we have recently made some useful updates to the SiteAnalyze service.

Tracking Document Downloads & External link Usage.

Tracking of document download has never been easier with SiteAnalyze.

It has always been possible to track document downloads using SiteAnalyze but in the past this meant using ‘on-click’ code. As the ‘on-click’ code required a bit of technical knowhow and access to the CMS system we thought we would make it even easier for our customers.

It is now possible to track document downloads and external link usage by replacing this JavaScript method with one simple line of code. Contact us today to try out this feature for yourself.

Historic View of Search Terms Used

Another recent change was to make it possible to view graphs and trends of search terms usage over different time periods.

For example in the graph below you can see how many times people have searched for the word ‘job’ each day during the week.

SiteAnalyze has always collected statistics on search terms usage for both internal and external search engines but now it is possible to view these statistics in a graphical form over different time periods giving the user a clear indication of the trends for search term usage.

If you are currently using SiteAnalyze and would like to investigate these features further please contact your account manager. If you do not currently use SiteAnalyze but would be interested in a one month trial of SiteAnalyze you can sign up for a free trial by clicking here.
